ABOUT ME:
I am an established London-based model, dancer and performance artist looking to collaborate with other artists, costumiers, and photographers in various creative and experimental photo projects.

My performance background includes modern dance, traditional Balinese dance and burlesque. Known as 'Suri Sumatra' within London's burlesque circuit, I have been described as 'the thinking man's Josephine Baker'. My routines are treated as 'performance art', choreographed using strong visual aesthetics, emotional drama and tasteful feminine elegance, differentiating me from a burlesque scene over-saturated with tassel-twirling antics and Dita Von Teese imitators.

IDEAS:
I thrive on collaborating in the creative process and am always fueled with visual concepts and artistic ideas. I am an avid film buff and would like to collaborate on a photo project that harks back to the surrealist fantasy one might find in a Jean Cocteau film, the theatrics of a Busby Berkeley or Sergei Diaghilev production or avant-garde silent films of the 20's & 30's.
