So I'm hanging out with my friend. He's got a Masters in photography. We're taking landscape shots by the beach. we approach a couple, who are facing away from us. The guy chuckles about his new handheld digitial camera, remarking how top of the line it is. I stand beside him and take a few photos with my dslr, much to his chargrin. My friend then places his tripod down and sets up his large format camera, much to my chagrin.

That explains a lot about where I'm at with photography. Working on transitioning from a completely aural profession (I'm a radio programmer and voiceover talent) to a visual one.

I enjoy shooting portraits and concert photography. I'm from Chicago. I lived in San Diego most recently. The cold has defeated me. I like to think I'm fun to work with. I have to think this because otherwise it implies I'm not fun. And you know how well we artists deal with rejection.

I'm obviously a little silly.  Looking to meet like-minded weirdos to take fun photos.
