I am a semi retired accountant and would like to get back into my childhood hobby of photography. late last year I have bought a Nikon d80 and more recently a sb800 flash which is a pretty special piece of kit. I friend has lent me a studio with digital lights and a backdrop , so I am on the lookout for a perminant site for the studio. At the moment I am trying to shoot at the models premises.

I have got a couple of local bands lined up for a shoot which will help me expand my portfollio. I am also keen of nature so having a camera with me on the various rambles I do seems perfect sense.

I have bought photoshop and I am keen to learn all the wizzardry , which will be helped by your discussion forums.

I also want to meet more models and increase my experience , then use the material with photoshop to get some amazing results. I am presently stuck on how to get new backgrounds to feature in the photos.
