Hi there I'm James but my friends call me Jimmy I have now been practicing photography for 7 years. It's my life.

I was originally trained in dark room photography with the standard SLR black and white film photography. My tutor and mentor Ms Victoria Bevan, took me under her wing and taught me everything that I know.

I have a GCSE and an A Level in photography

I was tutored in photography by my mentor and she taught me how to teach the art of using a camera, and how to use a dark room to it's full potential. I would have gone on to gain a diploma, but I was blessed with my 6 year old son instead, and he's probably the best thing to have ever happened to me.

Then I was introduced to digital photography. I do not like to edit my photos by choice. However I do have the skills to edit, as you can see from my images on my facebook (James Jimmy Stuart).

Nowadays, I spend most of my time taking photos of live bands and up-and-coming models. So far I have done 14 shoots and counting with different types of models, and countless shoots with bands, but I would love to do more.
Preferably, i would like to work with more Alternative models. I like to capture their individuality by playing with the lighting, clothing and make-up.

I have set up the dining room of my bungalow into a studio using two large white lights, and a lot of fabric on my walls so the models are in main focus. Also, i have a very large and beautiful garden full of colour, trees and plants.
