I started out in photography many decades ago as a way to help pay for college. Later moonlighted as a sports photographer for a Dallas area newspaper. Later still did photojournalist and war zone photos in the Middle East and Asia. Worked for travel magazines in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. My avatar is Sun-Moon Lake in Taiwan, shot for the Taiwan tourist brochure. All that was an aside from a very successful project engineer career and now very successful business career.
My favorite subjects are nature and the human form. I do this because it fascinates me. At this stage I’m not looking for work, I’m seeking to create art. The art themes cover the spectrum, from traditional to abstract. Any photographic effect is fair game to be included, however unusual.
I do this where I live, on 40 acres east of Georgetown, with a pecan orchard, woods, a river, and an old farmhouse turned into a studio.
