About Me

I'm an alternative process artist, author, and teacher here to network and collaborate. My photographs have been published in magazines, books, and online, and my artwork has been in galleries and shows around the country. I also shoot for stock libraries which means I submit images in the hope that somebody will buy rights.

I pay experienced models to work on my concepts, PM me if you're interested in working together and I can let you know target compensation, and remember everything's negotiable. I don't generally do TF but for those who are up and coming models with a unique look we might be able to work something out.

I have a number of concepts I working on this year and will compensate models according to how they can be part of the projects. Here's just a sampling:

-- Tattoos, body art, and body manipulations. Men, women, couples. Generally working toward the Avedon style studio look. In general I'm very interested in the body as a canvas. This is an ongoing collection I've been working on for almost ten years and expect it will someday become a book.

-- Ethereal environmental images, light colored sheer fabrics or dresses, backlit to emphasize figure, soft focus and lens flare.

-- Sweat, dirt, grease, and grit.

-- Polaroids - I have a couple of precious boxes of Fuji instant film left and am looking for the right situation to use them.

-- Cosplay - especially if you can sew some of the concepts together that I have in mind. If you can do that I'll pay for the costume and the modeling.

I have books and sketches for images I'm trying to make but am open to your ideas.

On nudity, though I have photographs in my portfolio with nudity it's not required to work together. I realize posing nude can be a big leap for some and for others it's no big deal. If it's not for you or you're only comfortable to a point then say so, there's a lot of interesting pictures to be made.

For my personal art I use traditional photographic processes including Wet Plate Collodion from the 1800's and medium to large format film from the 1900's and large format (4x5 and 8x10) cameras from the last century. Unless you have a very unique look I generally like to work with a model a few times before I try these processes in a model session since it's time consuming and doesn't yield a large quantity of work. But if you have an interest let me know.

I prefer to communicate via PM, email, or txt messages to keep everything in writing. Also since I'm semi-pro my other job keeps me on the phone all day long, so random calls can be a challenge. If you want to talk through a concept we can setup a time to talk.

Thanks for reading, feel free to ask any questions.
