About Me

I am a swinging trapeze artist training in Montreal; I have started modeling in my spare time during the past year. I love being on stage and similarly enjoy being photographed, if I can relate to the "character" I am expected to portray. As a model I consider my role to be actor, to varying degrees depending on the assignment.

I also have an interest and appreciation for good photography. It makes me angry to see lifeless, boring or over-contrived photos. A photo's purpose is not to portray reality as it is, but to create something beautiful out of a particular angle of reality. Photos are made up of light and shadow, not blocks of colour -- I love high-contrast. I love real film, I love "accidents", underexposure, overexposure, grain, those imperfections that make a photo art rather than an accurate representation of what is really there.

My stylistic inspirations: film noir, David Lynch, '20s, '40s, anything vintage.
