E Leon Myers began his love affair with photography at an early age in a small suburb of Los Angeles while shooting his friends skateboarding and snowboarding.

Brooks Institute of Photography beckoned after the institute’s director viewed his work in the New and Upcoming Artist section of a Santa Barbara Art Gallery.

While at Brooks E Leon developed an affinity for fashion photography and in his senior year was awarded the coveted internship in NYC with the legendary Michael Thompson.

Upon his return to Los Angeles E Leon began shooting editorial fashion and beauty.  Just prior to graduation, he assisted John Russo where he further honed his skills in celebrity portraiture.

E Leon was one of the last to graduate from Brooks before the digital focused curriculum. E Leon believes his training in both classical wet chemical and state-of-the art digital technology has enhanced his understanding and mastery of both perspectives to realize his artistic vision in his images

E Leon has established his studio in a converted warehouse in the Artist District of downtown Los Angeles where he continues to shoot editorial fashion, advertising and celebrity portraiture.
