The most creative images result from the collaboration of the photographer's artistry, vision and craftsmanship with the model's artistry, imagination and enthusiasm. I shoot nudes for the same reason that artists over the ages have depicted the female nude: It's the most profound and sublime expression of natural beauty. One model described my images as "confronting." It means I try in the most aggressive way I know to capture the beauty, personality, vitality, vulnerability, allure, sensuality and, yes, sexual power of the woman I'm photographing.
