Born in Hong Kong. Dicky Manana graduated from the Art and design school under the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008. Prior to his graduation, in 2007 he had already a freelance photographer of his career. Dicky Manana is an internationally acclaimed fashion, portrait and commercial photographer. Dicky’s most compelling quality is the ability to colour his images with strong elements of romanticism, fantasy and a hint of darkness. His unique style has defined his work since picking up he first camera at the age of fifteen, when he first started experimenting with self-portraiture and themes of fantasy which he continues to develop and refine today. At only seventeen Dicky started his own business – DICKY MANANA Photography. Beginning by taking on small clients, he was soon able to demonstrate a strong understanding of how to develop the commercial side of his business to adequately deal with the high demand for his work. Dicky’s momentum has continued to build, with industry leading brands and well-known fashion and photography magazines worldwide.

Dicky Manana’s choice of field within the arena of photography – style, beauty, and fashion-dovetails with his innate fondness for glamour. As a photographer he is licensed fantastical illusion. He takes the illusions far beyond the mere moment captured in conventionally shot photographs. He approach is first and foremost about taking total control of the image he creates.

Even today, Dicky relentlessly strives for perfection and continues to develop and refine his portfolio.
