Hey there! I'm Laura, hobby based makeup artist and photographer.

First things first: this is all a hobby for me. I do it because I love it, it's fun, and I get to create something amazing. That being said, I don't pay my models or expect to be paid (unless its a project I'm not really interested in, but someone talked me into it). So no money will exchange hands, but we will both get to build our portfolio, and hopefully have a lot of fun storytelling along the way! Please keep this in mind before you contact me.

About my photography:
>I prefer to work with natural light, because I don't have studio lighting, nor do I have a studio. And even more so, I prefer building up sets out of the environments around me rather than standing in front of a white sheet.

>I have fun using photography as a medium for making stories and characters come to life. I've done shoots with my friends reenacting fairy tales, dressed as mythology characters, etc. I've got a ton more planned out. I'm just waiting to have people interested and close by that can model for me. =)

I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to work with people. I currently live in St. Johnsville, NY. I also have solid places to stay in central NY (Albany to Utica), Boston and Lawrence MA, and sometimes NYC, and Hartford CT, so I'm more than willing to work in those areas if the opportunity presents itself!
