About Me

My name is Riano McFarland and I began my photographic journey back in 1983 while living in Europe. Having photographed such places as Rome, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Berlin, Munich, Kaiserslautern, Saarbruecken, Paris, Luxembourg, Zurich, and Moscow, I have an eye for bringing common scenery into an artistic light. This is especially true when photographing models. Models want not only to look great in every shot... they want the shot to BE great. The job of a photographer is to capture a moment in time and preserve that moment in beautiful form for the ages. Although no photographer can succeed at this goal 100% of the time, I strive to define and capture models in THEIR most beautiful moments.
Although I am very skilled at photoshop, I believe the photograph must first be able to stand on it's own content.
A very notable European photographer once told me... "in order to capture the beauty of a woman, you must first fall in love with her a little bit." To this day, my heart teeters on the edge whenever I capture that perfect shot.

Hello!

Please come down to our First Friday Meet and Greet Event this Friday August 6th for Drinks, Snacks and Shooting.

As always this is a free event for everyone but we are allowing photographer's the choice to pay a $25 dollar fee if they would like to have 30 MINUTES OF STUDIO TIME with our amazing Props and Backgrounds and our extensive line of Profoto Equipment! You may bring your own Model or use our Featured MM Guest Model of the night at no additional charge!

The model will be professionally styled in a High Fashion and Glamour outfit. Just bring your camera with Hot Shoe/Sync Cord Capabilites.

This is a wonderful way to try our Equipment and Studio for a small fee. Either way, please come down and meet and mingle with other creative minds. Please message me if you would like to attend!
