About Me

Jae Scott, a motivational speaker / image consultant and founder of JaeScott.com. Jae holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising concentrating in Fashion show production and Personal shopping. Jae has been credited with the creative development of San Francisco Bay Area Network (SFBA) as an intern assistant to fashion designer and founder, Joseph Domingo.

Jae was a production assistant for Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week for two years, and a journalist for One Eighty Magazine where her first recognized published article, entitled: “Patti & Donna”, was released at the NYFW 2010 showing .The article highlighted the relationship of Patti Cappalli Taylor and Donna Karan as designer and assistant. This piece poetically revealed the life of Donna Karan before she became the acclaimed designer we know today.

Miss Scott also produced a successful charity fashion show in the heart of San Francisco at the Metreon Center called, “The Beauty of Life”. The production raised money and awareness for Sickle Cell Anemia, for the Children’s Hospital of Oakland, and in honor of her sister who had the disease. Scott secured over 28 sponsors, a donation of 59% profit, 40 editorial features, and 20,000+ impressions. In 2010 Miss Scott got the opportunity to participate in building the fashion production company Mélange Productions, Inc.

Upon leaving San Francisco, Jae acquired fashion positions as: Sales Associate at Vince Camuto, Beauty Expert and Visual Merchandiser at Victoria Secret, and image consultant at luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman. It was while working at Bergdorf Goodman with successful clientele: Katrina Adams, Gladys Knitght, Floyd Mayweather, Jim Hedges, John Barrett, and Clifford Gilbert Lurie, Jae begin to reflect on her professional resume. After working in several positions of fashion, Jae recognized a repeating connection of image to passion for life. From her diverse life , travel, and professional experiences, Jae has realized her life's purpose as a motivational speaker. Utilizing Fashion as a platform, Jae currently motivates her clients to look their best physically to encourage mental and spiritual prosperity.

"I am always up for a challenge. I love to network and meet new people. Feel free to contact me for collaborations."

Hey There!
I was really interested in your portfolio and love your work, and was wondering if you would be interested in being the stylist for a project I have coming up?

INK Magazine has asked me to put together a shoot for their Fall/Winter Issue. I have been asked to shoot a "Camel" look, meaning really Autumn-y, warm hues of browns and beiges, it's all about Fall Fashion!

I was interested in shooting both male and female models, and going for a somewhat 60's look: eyeliner, lots of mascara (tastefully of course) and nude/light lips. As for hair, I want to follow with that 60's look, meaning BIG hair, lots of volume, somewhat wavy and some straight with a part in the middle. To give you a better idea of what I'm talking about, here is a link to a photo with a similar look I'm aiming for:

As for the clothing, it's all about Camel! Here is a great site with specifically that look, this is what I need and was wondering if you could do that:

This is solely a TFP job, we will be helping each other grow in our portfolios and provide great exposure.

I am planning on having this shoot done next weekend, September 17-19th, OR the following weekend. I am not 100% sure as to which dates exactly, but once I have my models confirmed, I will be sending out more specific information. The shoot will most likely take place somewhere either around San Francisco, Berkeley, or possibly Livermore.

I hope you will consider this project! Please message me back with your answer and thoughts, and any questions are welcome as well. My website is on my ModelMayhem profile if you'd like to take a better look at my style of work.

Best regards,
Karina
