I have been working in the photography industry in Chicago off & on for about 20 years now. Most of my work has been for myself, although I have done several professional shoots. About a year ago, I decided to switch gears and am currently attending the Illinois Institute of Art pursuing a degree in Digital Photography. Prior to this, all my work has been done on film. Currently, I need reliable models for class projects and will trade prints (and digital files) for modeling time. I have a studio available to me and am able to travel.

I have a preference for black & white images that evoke a more romantic feel, although I am very adept at color photography as well. Currently I am not seeking commercial employment, but am more than willing to work with individuals seeking practice in front of the camera and/or images for their portfolio.

I have a few rules . . .

1. I operate on a strictly TF basis. I do not get paid for most of my work and therefore do not have disposable income to pay for models. I trade my abilities behind the camera and in front of the computer for your time.
2. At the present time, I do not have a MUA available. I prefer a natural look for most of my projects so only basic makeup is required.
3. I have a great variety of music at my disposal. Feel free to inform me of your preferences ahead of time. I do take requests ☺
4. Unless otherwise stated, all shoots run between 2 and 3 hours, including dressing and makeup time.
5. I will show you images while we shoot, particularly if I see something I really like.
6. In exchange for your time, you will receive 12 polished images within 2 weeks of the shoot, along with an additional 12 corrected, unpolished images from my second choice list. These will be in the form of high-resolution JPEG images, either downloadable from my website or in the form of optical media. You will not receive RAW files.
7. You will have full use rights for non-commercial purposes, meaning you are free to use the images for self-promotion (portfolio, etc.).
8. You may not re-edit my images. I spend a considerable amount of time editing and tweaking my images getting them “just right.” I welcome your input on the final product, but the ultimate decision falls to me.
9. You are NOT granted commercial use rights, meaning you cannot sell or otherwise license the images. Should the situation arise, contact me and we will negotiate an arrangement suitable to all involved.
10. I retain ownership of all my images.
11. These rights are embedded in every image I create at the time of creation.
12. I expect you to be prompt and on time for a shoot.
13. Emergencies do arise. Please call or text ASAP if something does come up.
14. If you are no call/no show for a shoot, we will not work together again.
15. If you cancel at the last minute twice in a row, we will not work together again.
16. I shoot three things: Boudoir/Lingerie, Nudes and Erotic Art. If you are not comfortable with that, please look for another photographer.
17. I only photograph women. I do not find men’s bodies appealing – sorry guys.
18. In certain situations, I will shoot male-female couples. I am always willing to photograph female couples.
19. Above all else, have fun! We’re just here to play dress up and make pretty pictures, after all!
