About Me

The work of Alfred Cheney Johnson and Man Ray are my main inspirations. I am a vintage-loving, modern day flapper, always trying to express my creativity in fashion, Art and Photography. I love nothing more than to create something, or be a part of a creation.

Being mainly a Vintage Clothing dealer and collector, I have access to lots of interesting, unique stuff that they just don't make the same anymore. I am mostly inspired by 1920's-30's imagery and this is the look I usually take on, although I venture to the 1940's through 60's as well. Film Noir, Old Hollywood, and pin-up styles are genres I'd like to do more with.

I have a BA in Fine Art/Photography so can appreciate your work. I worked 5 years full time in Archaeology, so historical reflection is important to me but I love to combine it with Art. Classic beauty, good taste, and class are also very important to me, yet I love to combine it with some raciness, sensuality, and allure. I thrive on fun Artistic Projects and anything with vintage-style. For example, I have a 1920's-30's dance troupe (and I took 8 years of tap and ballet) called The Moonlight Follies and I have a Paper Moon set-up that I take photos of people on at events, complete with a trunk of props. I adore dressing up, and dressing other people up. I believe I have styled myself in all my photos, in fact.

I have costumed/styled quite a number of productions as well now- so let's talk if you are dreaming of specifics. Vintage cowboy chaps, Victorian dress, Vaudeville, 1930's glam, the flapper's boudoir...I don't want this stuff to go to waste! And my Hat collection is amazing!

Currently my hair is back to its natural shade of medium blond and it is shoulder length. I am willing to alter this for Art's sake. I prefer to do my own Hair and Makeup but will gladly work with a professional, ESPECIALLY if they can do good fingerwaves! I have done extra work on several period films now, as well.

I am dependable and good-mannered and expect the same. :)
