I recently graduated with a BA in the media arts at UCSD and want to get my feet wet in the photography world. I don't have too much experience outside of academics, but am willing to go to any lengths to succeed as a photographer. I'm hoping this site can put me in touch with the right kind of people to help me realize my goals... After uploading some of my photos, I realize I should explain the commonality of sunglasses in my shots. I like them, they have the ability to change someone from a person into an icon. eliminating eye contact depersonifies the model and makes them more than human.
