Hey there! I'm Laura and I am 25. I graduated from NKU with honors in December 2011. I've loved being in front of a camera since I was young, and I am always completely open to new and innovative ideas. I've got a BIG personality and you will usually find me with a huge smile on my face. I enjoy performing arts, especially acting, singing, dancing, and modeling. I spend my spare time enjoying the outdoors by hiking, camping, and just being a country kind of girl :)

I love meeting new people from all types of different backgrounds, and I tend to get along with just about everyone. I'm very outgoing and I love to enjoy whatever it is I am doing, but I also work hard and give 100%, because succeeding at a task is extremely fulfilling to me! I can be a bit goofy, and I am not afraid to speak my mind and be myself.

I think that since we all only live once, we should try to enjoy each moment and find happiness in the small things that surround us. I try not to take things too seriously or let my life pass me by without enjoying it to the fullest. I think that having a positive vibe and aura is important when working with others, because it is all about keeping things fun, positive, and treating everyone the way that you would like to be treated. I'm definitely not stuck up, snobby, or hard to work with!

I really like the idea of shooting new and exciting images. High fashion shots or just interesting and unique ideas always catch my eye. I really would love to work on getting some very colorful high fashion type of shots. I love how Model Mayhem can allow models and photographers to be able to meet and collaborate with eachother, and how it would otherwise be impossible to have such a great group of people to network with.

I also love behind the camera work. I produced/edited/shot short documentary films for NKU's television station, Norse Media. I have worked as the casting assistant for America's Next Top Model auditions in Cincinnati, and I really just love getting involved with the creative aspects of film/tv/photography.

I have been modeling on and off since the age of 14, and I'm really starting to feel like acting is a bit more my thing, mostly because I love to use my voice, personality, and take on different characters. I'm completely open to networking with local people in the entertainment industry, but I am aware that not everyone on Model Mayhem is here for the right reasons, so I may seem a bit cautious at first, until I can research and verify that you are legitimate and professional.
