I am a college student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I'm looking to shoot with anyone that either lives in the Springfield / Champaign-Urbana area or is able and willing to travel here. I can go up to Chicago on occasion, but not frequently, as my budget as a student tends to be pretty limited. Also due to being on a student's budget, I'm looking mostly for TFP shoots since I sadly don't have much cash to offer.

I'm currently in Los Angeles, CA, so if any models in the LA area want to shoot, feel free to add / message me and I'll get back to you ASAP!

On principle, I don't do any nude, implied nude, etc. The only time I ever will is if both the model and I know each other very well and we both feel completely comfortable with it, and we have a legitimately creative vision for it.

As far as pure photographic experience goes, I started shooting for my high school's website when we needed pictures from basketball games, spirit week, etc., and I've basically just built on that over time. I started taking it seriously around the winter of 2009, when I got my first DSLR, going on to shoot for the school's newspaper and yearbook. I also shot some sports for a local newspaper and did miscellaneous work for a teen-run section of the same paper. I spent two semesters working at the Daily Illini, which is the official student newspaper at the University of Illinois. In the past few years, I've done much more freelance work, primarily as a music and event photographer. I've shot shows and promotional portraits for several artists and publications, and have done events for several student organizations as well as the university itself. Nowadays, I'm mostly looking to get more experience doing portraits and working more directly with the people in front of my camera, as during concerts and events, I'm not doing much directing of my subjects.
