Following in my mother's footsteps — she's an internationally shown fine art photographer — I primarily shoot landscapes with film. But I've done photojournalism before, as well as a bit of paid portrait work, and am interested in expanding my portfolio. A friend — makeup artist extraordinaire Alyssa Rosenthal — suggested Model Mayhem as a good place to look, so here we are.

What you can expect from me: I'm unshockable, unflappable and have a good sense of humor about the problems that come up when shooting. I prefer the freedom and speed that digital gives for straight portraits, but am most fluent in film and am willing to work with a client or model to give them what they want. I don't have a tremendous amount of experience in traditional portraiture, and prefer natural lighting, but it's my firm belief that anyone shot well can look amazing and gorgeous, no matter the body type.

What I like from my models: Good, clear communication, a sense of humor, and a willingness to collaborate on unconventional and beautiful shots.

I have paid models, and I have been paid by models. Talk with me, and we'll come up with something appropriate.
