About Me

Even though I'm listed as an amateur photographer, I like to think of myself as a non-professional photographer. My interests in photography go back a good number of years. I started out photographing nature, portraits, and casual. The portraits and casuals have been of friends and a few women who needed pictures for their portfolios to start their careers. In 2005 I developed an interest in female nude figure studies. The interest is not necessary a figure study but can be artistic and creative. I still have an interest in portrait and causal photography. I continue to shoot nature. Another interest I have is lingerie/Boudoir photography. I'm looking to add more of that art form to my portfolio. In addition, I'm looking to add more casual photos to my portfolio.

For new models in need of pictures, I'm willing to help with TFP. I'm open to creative ideas. My studio is located in Island Lake, Illinois. Island Lake is about 40 miles northwest of Chicago. I'm available on weekends, only.

Thank you for visiting my site.

"Michael is a wonderful fine art photographer who worked with figure studies more so than a huge array of poses. I enjoyed his style, while physically demanding, it was a nice challenge and I appreciate the way he sees art. He's very respectful and understanding and allows breaks as you need. I look forward to shooting with him again soon." Read less
