My name is Ritz and I am a freelance makeup artist. In '06 I graduated from Central Florida College with a license for 700 hrs in Aesthetics. I studied skin care with the intentions of applying a flawless makeup. Since then, I've gained experience through several small gigs offered to me. I'm looking to turn this passion into a career. I'm also looking to learn several techniques through other freelance professionals. Currently I am working on my portfolio in hopes that I am offered more gigs. I'm very comfortable working with African American and Hispanic women. I work with all lines of makeup including but not limited to MAC, Coastal Scents, Elf, Mica Bella, TooFaced and Maybelline. I like to believe that it isn't the brand of makeup one uses, but rather the makeup artist applying it. As a makeup artist and professional, I like to venture and try new brands often, so that if my client request it, I make sure I have it available in my kit. I also use Dinair, which is a brand well known for airbrush. I enjoy this technique because it allows me to use hypoallergenic products, it gives my photos and work a professional touch, its a quick technique.
With the experience that I've gained, I've learned to keep the small items in my kit that often are never thought of, however seems to come in handy. When I work with models or any client, as a professional, I take excellent of my clients. I find that it is part of a reputation which follows, and leads to excellent word of mouth.
