My name is Marc Frye. I attended the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies from 1983 to 1985. Upon completion I opened Plaza Design Photographic Illustrators, in Largo FL. I specialized in Fashion, Small product, architectural and band photography. That was back in the day of film. I used 35mm, RB 6X7 Medium format and Calumet 4X5 view cameras. My reason for joining MM is to increase my exposure to potential opportunities and meet talent in the Vegas area. Art directors often ask me to find the models for shoots. I have been in the world of financial planning for the past 24 years and just had to get back to my roots. I have re equipped myself with today's professional standards. Such as Canon 5d mark 2 digital cameras and studio strobes among other devices and software. Formal Bio: Marc has had a passion for photography since the age of 13, when he got his first 35mm camera. By age 15 he had won his first photo contest. In high school, Marc was on the news paper and yearbook staff. His high school installed a new darkroom for a class on how to process film and make enlargements. The teacher didn’t know how to use the equipment so Marc, who had a full darkroom at home, instructed the teacher and the class in darkroom techniques. After graduation, Marc attended The Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach Florida. Upon completion he opened a commercial studio in Largo Florida called Plaza Design, Photographic Illustrators. Marc freelanced for Southern Homes and Metro Tampa Bay magazines as well as top ad agencies and talent agencies.

Fast forward to today; Marc is completely digital. He takes the old techniques and translates to today’s technologies. After being in the world of finance for 24 years, he is now back and loving photography again. Classically trained and newly updated.
