Lingering Danger

Everytime youre around you become a danger
But yet you know how to act like the perfect stranger
You camoflauge so well with my nature
Acting as if you were my creator
Making your ego greater
Later on down the road
I should’ve known
You would have been a traitor
Thats what makes you a lingering danger
No question about it you were the best debator
A great dictator
The worst translator
A man of a few w words
An illusion of calling yourself a lord
When it came to me you never had much to say
I was your perfect prey
Kidnapping me down to the bay
I was your all you can eat buffet
You were my master & I was your slave
You made me dance ballet
I tried hiding from you in a cave
Trying to run free with the waves
But you were just a lingering danger
Punished me if I misbehaved
I’m a masochist
So I love the pain
I tried having a mentality of an alchemist
It wasn’t my thing
Hold me under the rain
Lingering danger hurt me again
Put me in the palm of your victory
Make me your history
Lets make it all a mystery
Lets give the world a triumphant delivery
