Robert Saxon has been immersed in visual arts from an early age. “My mother was a painter and my father was an agency creative director and film director. At age 15, I started working on film productions, and at age 17 started shooting pictures.”

At Syracuse University Robert studied photography at the Newhouse School and graduated with a double major in art and music history, while continuing to work as a freelance production coordinator. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked for seven years as an agency producer, shooting with many of the world’s leading dp’s, directors, and photographers across the globe.

“As a photographer, it’s important to recognize the potential for a great image in any situation. There’s no such thing as a dull subject.”
