Hello, there.

My name is Jianglong, Fine-art photographer in Montreal area.

After have received traditional painting training in university years ago, i decided to pick up camera as my main creative tool...connecting the fiction of painting and the reality of photography gives me a lot of flexibility to express. I loved to capture subjects' beauty in between the seconds of shutter, and wrap it with the language of painting.

Even though i shoot digital in the past, currently I dedicate to the analog photography(film), mainly black&white film, occasionally color slide/negative. Format varies from 35mm to large format. Basically, my work will only use available light, those commercial strobe feeling and heavily post-processed pics make me sick...:) Worked in creative industry for more than 12 yrs, I am really getting tired of that kind of "Aesthetic".

I like to shoot people, enjoy in discovering their characters, appreciate in getting inspiration from them...
