About Me

A photographer's primary job is to take everyday events and make them exciting; to make the ordinary look extraordinary.

Based in San Jose, California, I am constantly surrounded by beautiful scenery and landscapes. This led me to purchase my very first Digital SLR camera in 2010 and I have been shooting ever since. In 2011 I was hired as an official photographer for the "Monterey Bay Reggae Festival" and have been invited back to photograph ever since. This opportunity has led me to capture other live performances, events and concerts. In March of 2012, I graduated from The Art Institute of California, San Francisco with a Bachelors degree in Advertising.

Following my graduation, I was able to put my degree and love for photography to use while working for a local San Jose Mom and Pop custom jewelry company. I developed their web presence by redesigning their website and connecting the business to multiple social media outlets. During this time, I photographed hundreds of jewelry pieces for their online store - one of the most challenging projects to date as a photographer. Capturing the beauty of each stone, each type of metal, each color and making them appear as alluring as they do in person was no easy feat! I took great pleasure in creating a beautiful shopping experience for their clients.

In August of 2013 I was hired as a Graphic Designer and Photographer for Ten90 Studios. I produce many projects including: software demos and presentations, corporate videos and infographics for several different tech companies based in the Bay Area.

In the past few years, I have had the opportunity to gain experience on the other side of the camera as well. I have been modeling in commercials and print advertisements for: Men's Wearhouse, Oh Henry! candy bar, Cisco Systems, and other companies. Being on the other side has allowed me to gain extended knowledge of the commercial photography industry. In turn, I have found that this is helping me to better connect with my subjects whether they be landscapes, portraits, concerts or the gleaming pearl necklace on your bedside table. I look forward to working with you soon.
