8 years ago, Jamila Smith decided she couldn't put up with going to a bad salon and decided to cut her own hair. Then she started cutting her family's hair, and then her friends hair. She went to Wake Technical Community College, where she studied Business Administration and then decided to jump right back into what made her happy-hair. Her heart led her to make changes in her life which brought her to Sherrills University of Barber and Cosmetology, working on sets of photo shoots and assisting at hair competitions. Her passions come alive when she is connecting with her clients, and being able to communicate an idea together. Her continued education helps her further her specialties to be an amazing hair cutter, stylists, and colorist. Though still in the process of going through schooling she is an up and coming stylist to look out for!!
