My name is Dionne J. I am a plus size model from the beautiful state of Alabama. I began modeling at the age of 16. I did several local shows and worked in the local mall as a mannequin model but went on to school. Two years ago, I began modeling again beginning with THEFASHIONSHOW, an alter ego experience, in Huntsville, Alabama for Ms. Stephanie Love. After that, I was also a model for Radar Magazine's Rock The Runway, where I walked for designer and Editor and Chief of Denim Magazine, J.Bolin. I am a returning model for David's Bridal and was a feature model and Assistant to the Creator of the 2nd Caribbean Fashion Show, Ms Allison Adams. My greatest accomplishment thus far is becoming a member of the BLAQ PEARL ENTERTAINMENT company of Atlanta, Georgia.

My goal in this field is to help promote a POSITIVE outlook on Plus Size modeling. People tend to not take Plus Size models as serious as our smaller counterparts because of society's views of Beautiful. Skinny doesn't always equate to Healthy and Beautiful. I want Plus Size women to know that you don't need the approval of others to be beautiful. Know it and believe it in your heart. Never Cocky but Confident in your place in the world. If you don't believe in you, no one else will either.
