I've been a freelance portrait photographer for the past ten years, working on senior photos, weddings, engagements, and the like...but my heart is still in creative portrait shoots, which I don't get a chance to do nearly enough of these days. More than anything, I love imagery that combines nature and portraiture. I love bygone eras, fairytale vibes, and creating beauty.

I don't shoot lingerie, swimwear, or nude photos. But I do have is a vested interest in creating the most beautiful images possible, so I guarantee I will showcase your beauty. I am very particular about my editing and spend a good deal of time working on each image in Photoshop after a shoot.

I am often willing to shoot TFP as long as I like your look, you're committed to showing up on time, and are willing to sign a model release (I sell my photos on Getty Images, which often end up on book covers or other publications - you can be famous!). I provide full-resolution photos via Dropbox, and I usually edit way more than just a handful of shots from each session.

Right now I am looking to shoot portraits in lake/river/forest settings, fairytale/fantasy/steampunk/vintage/futuristic portraits, and costumed portraits that evoke a bygone era. I'd love to work with models who are willing to hike a little to get to more exciting locations! I take concept suggestions, too, if you have something original in mind. If you have ideas for locations around Boise, I'd love to hear them - I get bored with my usual spots.

Right now I am NOT interested in shooting much typical modern clothing and typical modern hand-on-hip poses. No Boise Depot, no Freak Alley, no Kathryn Albertson Park - I have plenty of high school seniors for that! I'm looking for shots that are dramatic, feminine, delicate, ethereal, or maybe all of the above. Above all, I'm telling a story.

Let me know if you have something unique to offer, too, such as a great wardrobe, a skill such as dancing or playing an instrument, or just really cool hair. If you don't have professional photos in your portfolio similar to the style I'm going for, I am not necessarily going to turn you down, but please don't be offended if I do - this business is about looks and the image you present.
