Hi!

I joined MM because I am often in need of models for my paintings. I'm interested mostly in athletic male models at the moment, but this varies depending on the work I am creating.

Here is a short artist bio:

Lance Hewison (b. 1982) lives in San Francisco, CA. He graduated Bachelor of Fine Arts from Academy of Art University, and studied in Italy in 2009. He is now an instructor at Academy of Art University, and has participated in numerous exhibitions domestically, as well as internationally in the UK.

Lance works on large canvases and panels, and utilizes oil, acrylic, encasutic, and various printmaking techniques. The compositions typically feature single or multiple figures set within stark, abstracted environments. Some of these figures include historical persons, mythological heroes, bruised and bloodied athletes, a diefied lover, and slumbering young men. Lance also depicts objects and interiors. He explores themes involving identity, perception, and desire.
