I am not always able to return tags and comments - please don't think they are not appreciated, but life keeps me very busy, and I sometimes simply run out of time. To all the people sending me friends requests: I accept all friend's requests here when I am online, I do however think they are pretty meaningless, so if you want me to actually check out your work, or spike my interest, give me a reason to do so. Just a friends request alone won't cut it. Write an email to me or call me directly at the number below.

Please drop me a line to inquire about rates, and figuring out a schedule.
I only consider TFP assignments on a very limited basis, when a photographer can truly add to my portfolio.
Please keep in mind, I plan my shoots at least a month ahead of time.
I will travel, if expenses are fully covered. I'm easy going, creative and fun to work with, yet very professional, and I expect an equally professional approach from the photographers I work with as well. I will gladly provide referrals upon request.

Singer-Songwriter-Musician Kataka Gara has sang and played music most of her life and plays over 50 instruments. When Kataka became a Reiki Master Healer, she discovered that she could “funnel” positive energy through her music, while playing various musical instruments. This creates an exquisite and inspirational sound healing and musical experience, which drops audiences deeply into their hearts when they listen to her music. Kataka has a rich, strong Mezzo Soprano 3 octave vocal range, with the ability to sing lead, as well as blend harmonies with other singers.

A native from the San Francisco Bay Area, she founded the award-winning Ecstasy Lounge Women's Safe Sex Club in San Francisco in the early 1990's. She is currently creating a documentary about the historical impact this one-of-a-kind club has had on the empowerment of women and sexuality.

More recently, Kataka founded We Heal University, a Reiki Mastery School, thus creating the healing concepts of the Integrative Reiki Mastery Method, and authoring three books about innovative healing and manifesting concepts that the school currently uses for its curriculum. Reiki Certification courses at We Heal University are attended by students worldwide.

Kataka has been doing artistic model shoots with various photographers since 1984. She is currently working with Topperfilms, Temple Of Perfection Music and Spectacle 3- D Photography Studio with various photo and video shoots.

Her modeling style is uniquely cutting edge with various props and musical instruments to fill out the artistic angle of a particular shoot.
She is open to other unique photo shoots that create and represent images of empowering positions of authority for women.
