Edwin J. Torres was born in the South Bronx of New York City. Considering himself a late bloomer in the art world; Edwin discovered his visual arts passion after repeated courses and materials in film studies and photography at All Hallows High School and Colby College. In his education, Edwin engaged with filmmaking and photography to learn about the different ways in which people represent different personalities, how they inhabit space, and how stories develop and are told. Currently, he continues to work on his craft in his native city of New York. He aspires to make stories and images that inspire social change by highlighting the good and problematic in people and society.Equipment in use 5DmkIII, L Lenses, Speedlites, and Strobes.
