A gift is something that is given and in return needs to be shared. If you are lucky enough to be blessed in your lifetime to find a true passion for something, go for it. I happen to LOVE doing hair and makeup. I found out at the age of nine, when I was living in Africa that i had a passion for art. Back home, women did not traditionally wear their hair out. They would wear scarves around their head for fashion. Every month a new look would come out and at that age, I could do all of them. When I moved to the states, hair became my best friend, when I was in school with no job I did everyone’s hair around me. I lived off of hair. I love learning and every opportunity I got I expanded. Always staying humble and never being afraid to let people know who I am. I am here today to share what I have with anyone who is genuinely here to create art. I am a person of many cultures and backgrounds, a big dreamer a creative being. I am still a student of my craft and sharpening my tools is my main priority. I am dedicated, a hard worker, loyal and ambitious.
With masters in cosmetology, I am able to cut, color, do make up, and put together a style. I am able to create a look for photo-shoots, style for every day. I am currently working with a partner to create a line uniquerepublicclothing.com. As a stylist my job is to book shoots for the line. I am responsible for makeup and hair also.
