Jennifer Valdes is an independent filmmaker from NYC. She has written & directed a horror/comedy genre feature film called,
Jack 'O' Slasher (2012).

In 2011, she worked as a video editor for Troma Entertainment. Her video editing work can be seen on Troma's "Produce Your Own Damn Movie DVD (2012).

Besides writing and directing her own films, she is also an actress. Jennifer has appeared in the following films, Gothkill: The Soul Collector, Hack Job, I Spill Your Guts, Bible Belt Slasher Part II & Jack 'O' Slasher.

Jennifer has very vivd visions in her imagination of how she thinks each camera shot should look. She has a precise eye for seeing a completed work in her mind at the ideas conception. Her eye looks at things from the perspective of a camera lens. Check out some of her mind's elaborate creations.

As a director & video producer, Jennifer gets to meet a lot of interesting people. She enjoys making connections in the production and post production field. She is excited to find opportunities to work with different producers, directors and actors. She uses her networking abilities to try to meet indie filmmakers and producers in her field. She is always happy to meet other creative people. She has worked with many directors, actors/actresses, artists, musicians and celebrities. She has also a performance artist and club performer for more than 10 years.

Jennifer is also well known for producing & starring in her own public access tv series The All New Brain Eaters Show which airs weekly on QPTV (Queens Public Television) as well as, www.indiehorror.tv

Jennifer graduated from St. John's University in 2005, with a degree in Communications. She has a strong background in film and tv production and has advanced technical knowledge of video production, video equipment & post production. She worked in the St John's University television center and the video editing lab working with AVID and Final Cut Pro Editing systems.

Jennifer is currently working with the production company Archetype Cinema as an editor and director. Her most recent work with this company is a short film that she wrote, directed, edited and created special fx for. The short film is called "To Love is to Die" (2013).

Acting and modeling have always been a huge part of my life. I love becoming different characters. My favorite kinds of roles to play are sinister roles and also comedic roles.

I have acted in these films, Seekers, Gothkill: The Soul Collector, Jack 'O' Slasher, Hack Job, I Spill Your Guts and Bible Belt Slasher: The Holy Terror Part 2. I like to be creative and unique with my style. I love dressing up in costumes and horror themed ensembles. I have done modeling and fashion shows for Sugar and Spikes. I have also done professional photo shoots with Craig Kempf Photography.
