it’s been a while. i’m going to keep shooting the same things i’ve always shot. going to open the books to creating somethings with some people this year and get back to presenting people in intimate and real ways as possible.

i’d like to highlight things that don’t fall under standard and traditional glamour and beauty. i should say that i like to believe my space and studio and home are inclusionary and safe for all and that i would like to create with and will prioritize my time and energy for people of color, the gay, the queer, the lesbian, the non binary, those who are not able bodied, any of you out there who like me struggle with their body image and don’t see themselves the way maybe the world sees them and would like to have portraits of themselves for themselves or for whatever reason you have. sharing the time and space and creating and connecting with other people has always been therapeutic for me.

for years i myself have struggled to find non sexual connections it was like my soul craved this intimacy and bonds that seemed to only exist in my day dreams. i imagine there are maybe some people out there struggling with those sorts of feelings as well and i would like very much to connect and create with you. i don’t enjoying trying to push myself into place spaces communities that i am not already entrenched in but i am just saying to anyone who might feel something about what this is about and what i do that 2019 should be a fun year of creating things and showing that we are living and making some art.
