I’ve been photographing contemporary art and documentary images for the past 5 years, however I like to keep my images as unedited as possible (preferably medium format film). I’m looking to improve my retouching and general photoshop skills and of course to do this I need to practice on raw files. I’m looking to practice on portraits and partly due my crippling shyness, general lack of interest in studio equipment and the desire to keep my photography separate from my retouching; this site seems to be the place to go. Hopefully you’ll see a progression of my retouching as I go.
My favourite photographers are Luigi Ghirri, William Eggleston and Alec Soth. My favourite retoucher is Amy Dresser (I don’t know any other yet).
