As a MUA I specialize in photography makeup and would love to work more in print and magazine or marketing. I am attending a masters makeup class to better define this side of makeup.
I have been doing make up for over 15 years now, I got my start by doing makeup at different retail counters and continued on to become a certified Makeup Artist, Nail Technician and Esthetician through Brio School of Cosmetology in 2011. Some of my training includes: Origins, Brio, MAC, Makeup Forever, Master with Val GGarland, OPI and Bath Body Works in which I helped launch the Beauty By Nature line in 1998. I continue to attend MAC pro classes in Boston and NYC along with various Makeup shows. Fashion and Makeup go hand and hand and I feel both have no rules but rather guidelines. Most important both are an extension of your personality and making you an individual. So have fun with it! I am dedicated to maintaining a personal and professional relationship with my clients. It’s very important to me that all my clients feel completely comfortable and maintain open communication with me. I believe in the statement “a picture is worth a thousand words”, but one word can mean many different things to different people so I ask my clients for pictures so to help me see their vision. I firmly believe that I can leave you speechless if we are on the same page! Sanitation is huge to me. My Makeup, tools and room are always cleaned and sanitized between clients. I would love to meet some other talent in the area and work with photographers and models. I am available for TF shoots but I do have a kit fee just to cover product.
