Photographer who is returning to the basics. I am looking to further pursue the art through figure work. My goals are to become a better photographer every day and with every shoot. I work in several different mediums to achieve my goals and expand the experience. Approximately 80% of my work today is done in black & white format. In enjoy working in a variety of settings using both structured and natural light as well as working in both studios and on location. My style is simple composition finding beauty in the immediate subject and without elaborate settings. I do not agree with Avedon that only the surface is shot - instead I believe photography moves through the surface of the subject and reveals more than what is at first in plain sight.
