Alexander Ruiz also known as Lex was born and raised in New York City, based on the Lower East Side. Photography has always been a part of his life. Lex always liked taking pictures as a child. Intrigued by the fact a photograph can capture any moment in time and preserve it for years is amazing to him. “It’s almost like going back in time, only with vivid images to remember.” As Lex got older he
started to play with cameras and discovered something he was good at, so it soon became his passion.
Alexander has worked and traveled around the world including spending 7 years in New Zealand. Throughout his life he has worn many hats in the fields of construction, retail, catering, acting and of course nothing has captured him like photography and design. He loves to work outside and at locations that may be outside of a standard comfort zone. As a photographer Lex plans to set goals throughout this journey and that is to set himself up in a way where he can be working with in fields such as acting and theater, dance, erotic, fashion, fetish, modeling, fitness, hair and makeup, lifestyle, lingerie, pregnancy, promotional, runway, swimwear, underwater. Lex is in no way limiting himself or his skills.
