Ron T. Young is an experienced published photographer who specializes in results. Headshot sessions are for anyone who needs an image of their face for promotional reasons– maybe it’s for a website, flyer, or other marketing material.
Many actors are quite naturally charming and comfortable in front of the camera even without knowing the photographer but i am more than happy to meet in person before the shoot so we can chat it up a bit before the big day. I also highly recommend arranging a conversation between myself and your agent if the shoot is intended to produce specific shots for his or her submissions. It will be worth the time and effort to get it right the first time – agents are people, too, and may have pet peeves about photos we will never know about unless we ask. If you are new to the industry, during our consultation I will discuss some general things to keep in mind for your shots and help you determine what you want them to “say”.
