I began shooting when I was about 8 years old, and had set up my own darkroom by the time I was 12. By my mid 20's I had a growing career, young family, not leaving much time for photography. After battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and looking at regaining a life balance, I decided to pick the camera back up. I studied the New York Institute of Photography's three year course which brought me opportunities to travel with some of the great photographers of our day.

I have been lucky enough to travel the world both for business and pleasure, and over the years I have been published in the categories of travel and tourism. I have found that for me shooting people is the most challenging yet rewarding, and where I have the most to learn.

To balance the daily stress of life, I find the creative pursuit of a perfect capture, an image that perfectly represents the moment in time it was composed. Time spent in these pursuits often offset my daily responsibilities and analytical tasks. I am always looking for ways to improve my images, work with great people, collaborate on projects, and travel. I do this for the intense satisfaction of seeing the imagery that develops, that tells a story and captures a special moment in time, a moment that I can share with friends and family.
