I have been in the hair industry for over 10 years. I spent my first few years living in Vancouver and spending any spare time assisting stylists behind the scenes for hair shows, runway events, music videos etc. I have spent 7 years of my hair career living in Whitehorse, Yukon working behind the chair with my amazing clients who are very open minded to new styles, allowing me to always be creative with my work. Although I live in a relatively small town, there is a lot of talent here and I am very lucky to work with some great makeup artists and photographers to collaborate on projects and also for special events and fundraisers. I travel multiple times a year for education to keep myself excited and up to date with current trends, and am always looking for oppourtunities to grow as a stylist. I currently teach for Skills Canada, introducing highschool students to the hair world and training them for territorial and national competitions. I just love every aspect of the hair industry and am looking forward to reopening my salon this summer. I am seeking work as a session stylist, or assisting other stylists, and simply connecting with other like minded individuals to share ideas, education, etc. I love to watch other people work, and feel most inspired when I am with others who share my passion for what we do.
