Let's creatively evoke emotions!

Acting out a character in a scene that moves people emotionally is my favorite part. Understanding someone different than ourselves is extremely important for audiences as well as myself. As actors, we have expertise in showing the world someone's perspective. We create commonality between vastly different people. Since childhood, I've had a love for cooking, dancing, music, comedy, movies and mainly acting because of the way they bring everyone together. As "Mel" in "The Nightmareman" a short film directed by Jaret Von Jekyll, I metaphorically depict a woman fighting through depression. The film earned an award for "Best Cast and Crew" at the 2018 Creepy Tree Film Festival. Also in 2018, I worked on five accredited Senior Films at The University of Tampa. I took on characters that showed a broad spectrum. On the darker side, such topics include domestic abuse in "Forgotten Nights" directed by Meera Lakshmanan. On the lighter side, "The Dog Days are Over" directed by Minalee Madanayake. I play one of the leads "Rachel" a goofy sorority girl. It was truly empowering and inspiring working with female directors for the first time. My goal is to perform in projects that positively impact audiences toward understanding each other. Along the way, becoming the new kid on the big screen.
