An Actor, Dancer, Choreographer, Movement Director, and Writer; she obtained a dual BA degree in Dance & Theatre from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY in 2014, with a concentration in Dance Choreography, and a Minor in Communications. In her 9 year Performance career while living in New York City; she was active in the theater and dance communities, having performed in dance showcases, sketch shows, variety shows, Cabarets, stage plays and open mics.

She’s performed with companies such as Off-Off Broadway’s hip hop vaudeville comedy: Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot. She danced professionally with dance & burlesque company, Lyoness; with whom she currently works as their Assistant Director. She has also freelanced in modeling for makeup artists, photographers and clothing stores in NYC. Work credits include H&M, Cash x Cash App, Athleta and more. Candice enjoys writing; and has performed her spoken word poetry in local open mics, poetry slams and theatre shows throughout NYC.

Candice’s dance credits include, Feinstein/54 Below, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York City Center, Good Morning America, TRL and more. Candice’s acting credits include, The People's Improv Theater, WOW Cafe Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, The Broadwater Second Sage and many more. Segarra is well versed in arts and entertainment, having studied acting for stage, film & Shakespeare through 12 years and studied a wide variety of dance styles for 20+ years such as: ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, various urban street styles (vogue, street jazz), Latin dance styles (salsa, cha cha, mambo), modern dance, Heels, contemporary and musical theater. Segarra had once assumed the role as Choreographer and Director of her former dance-theatre company, Segarra Dance Theatre Projects (2015-2018). Currently, she works in TV, Film & Stage Production as a Production Coordinator and Stage Manager. She also performs as a Burlesque performer under the stage name, “Dulcita Leon.” At this time, she is studying television writing and is working on telling her own stories.
