Born in Washington, D.C., Jane Huntington grew up in New York and Connecticut. She attended the School of Visual Arts and Art Center College of Design as an undergraduate, and received her MFA from Pratt Institute.
Originally a painter and printmaker, she started taking photographs in the 90s, shooting musicians and fashion assignments. Retouching her own photography led to assignments working for other photographers, and viola, a new career was born!
When she's not retouching, Jane works on her own personal projects. In addition to photography, she also works on video, audio, and installation projects.
