I have worked with a number of models, both emerging and experienced. My outdoor shoots have ranged from urban cityscapes to rugged nature. Indoors, I prefer rooms with character or familiar settings and generally avoid sterile studio settings. My strong preference is to shoot in natural light though this can be challenging indoors.
With the models, I prefer minimal makeup and props - I believe this brings out the inner beauty of the model without the distractions of the surroundings. As a result, my style tends to be minimalist with an emphasis on the model, soft lines and plays on light and shadows. I am looking to do artistic portraits of the models and I prefer working with models who will also participate in the creative process. Looking to help new talent with their portfolios and experienced models with interesting additions to their portfolios. Please feel free to reach out if this seems to be interesting. He was also cool about letting me play my music during the shoot and made sure I was comfortable before we changed themes in the set.
