My name is Claire and I am the owner and photographer of Frisky Fox Boudoir Photography. Frisky Fox is a project of love for me. Having spent almost my entire life feeling unattractive and self-conscious about my body. Over the last several years I spent a lot of time working to become comfortable in my own skin, which turned our to be a much harder task then I ever thought.

After dropping over 200 pounds, I decided to take the plunge myself and give my boyfriend a little bonus gift on Christmas Eve-, a boudoir shoot of me. This photo is a result of this shoot (Photo Credit Faye Ross Photography - She kicks Butt) Little did I know how much of a gift this would be to myself, for the first time in my life I actually looked any myself in a photograph and said wow, I am beautiful. I cried. Not once in my 27 years had I ever felt that way about myself.

It was then, that I looked back on all the hurtful and mean things that I had to say about myself, how I made myself feel so bummed out about me and I thought no woman should ever feel like this—ever.

No matter your body type, your skin colour, your age, the colour of your hair, if you’ve got wrinkles or baby on the way, you deserve to love yourself and feel beautiful. This is when I decided to start the Frisky Fox as a medium to allow everywoman who comes to me to have that moment because let’s face it – the female figure is absolutely enchanting.
