I’m probably one of the most unlikely persons to initially join a site like this. I own a software develop company where I’ve spent years writing software applications for various clients (NASA, military, Fortune 500). Recently, I started focusing on visual database design, i.e. object oriented database systems that used video and photos to help users track and manage information. The more I worked with my Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera along with learning how to manipulate images in Photoshop in support of my software endeavor, the more I started developing an interest in photographing people and places. I’m far from experienced in the area, but have a number of ideas revolving around models and interesting outdoor scenes. Plus, as I learn more about Photoshop I can see the potential for developing compositions combining real world imagery with virtual imagery. It’s a bit overwhelming to see what many of the photographers have done on this site, but who knows...perhaps in time I’ll stumble upon my own unique approach to things...
