Mae Richards was born and raised in a small cape cod home in Upstate, New York. Always having an eye for fashion and glamour, she pursued her career at age fifteen by earning her New York State Cosmetology License. She later gained a degree in Business Management, minoring in film & digital photography. She began intermixing photography into her world of beauty to discover a new way to combine and express her abilities.

During her time at Utica College she participated in several art exhibits, including featured work along side an installation by Ansel Adams at the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute. After graduating she moved to New York City to continue to manage and develop MAZE Studio's in Brooklyn.

During her fourteen years at work she has photographed top models Kendall Jenner, Victoria's Secret Model; Jasmine Tookes, Hanne Gaby, Vanessa Moody and other high profile talent. In 2014, Richards became Editor-in-chief of Satellite Journal. You can also find her photographs in dozens of publications internationally.

Additionally, Mae has casting experience with PRODn at Art and Commerce and assisting for major publications such as Harpers Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. She has most recently started managing models though her agency, Caliber Models. Her models have appeared on the runway for Gucci, MSGM as well as editorials in W Magazine.

Her other interests include owning a non-profit Wellness Center in Upstate, New York: Sacred Space at Life House. As well as, sharing Young Living Essential Oils through her brand RevOILution. In the future she is planning to host Central New York's first ever fashion week, CNYFW.
