About Me

I’m Steven D. Elliott and I’m a Photographer, Based in New York City. My work is inspired by the do-it-yourself creative history of the city, the ambitious mindset of its residents and my own extroverted, infectious personality. My photography focus is in portrait, fashion and lifestyle photography. My talents come to light when I’m one-on-one with my subject, direct them and capture them as someone they might not recognize. Conversely, my photography is usually very fluid and off the cuff. I experiment often with composition, unique locations and unique emotion from my subject. My vision is looking to find the unconventional in the everyday.
